Subsea valve stations (SSVS) is a type of structure that serves as a foundation and protection for branches and valves on the pipeline. Apply Nemo delivered together with Rosenberg in a join venture a SSVS station for the Ormen Lange field to support and protect the 30” branches and valves on the 42” gas line. The SSVS can have integrated GRP grating or plates to decrease the weight. The valves slide in the structure to compensate for thermal expansion from the pipe.
