Pipeline end manifold (PLEM)
The Captains PLEM (pipeline end manifold) is a connection point between the main pipeline and a subsea structure or a branch pipeline. It is independent of type of connector and connection system. Apply Nemo has a long track record for engineering and construction of PLEMS. The PLEM has facilities for pig launching and/or receival and can be equipped with a retrievable check valve module (CVM). The header is equipped with a ball valve, to isolate the line, allowing recovery of the Pig Launcher / Receiver (PLR). The tie-in of the CVM will be done with Apply Nemo’s tie-in system for connection modules, and the PLR together with the external tie-ins of spool and pipeline can be done with Apply Nemo’s horizontal tie-in system Thor.
